Earfuls of Corn!

8/30/2012

2012 proves the biggest year for corn gleaning yet, with almost 10K pounds gleaned so far this season!

The end of August finds us with over half our gleaning poundage in corn (9,5K).  The next largest poundage is in cukes (over 2K) and peaches (1.6K); with the rest of the bulk in beans, squash, peas, beets; various greens; and a smattering of strawberries.
